Coating powders in the PE56 series are products that offer very good corrosion protection thanks to the improved barrier effect of the coating. Protection against corrosion is possible thanks to a barrier that does not allow ions and/or oxygen and water to penetrate the substrate. The lower the permeability of the coating for these substances, the better its barrier effect. It should be noted that a metal surface on which corrosion products or other contaminants are already present cannot be repaired by a coating with a barrier effect. The anti-corrosion properties of the "Corrshield" coating powders are created by a new type of polyester resin system. This reduces or eliminates the need for pre-treatment.
