Wolfram Alber founded Pulvercoat in Stuttgart in 2012 and continues to run the company as its owner to this day. As a master painter and varnisher with a degree in business administration, he has in-depth knowledge of coating processes, from practical application to cost estimation. He has been working in industrial surface technology since 1990—including more than ten years as General Manager for Germany at Cromadex, followed by a role as Unit Manager for the DACH region at AkzoNobel Powder Coatings, and as Sales Manager at Ripol Powder Coatings.

His approach: first understand the process, then select the powder. Whether the issue is adhesion problems, inconsistent coating thicknesses, high scrap rates, or rising process costs—he works with the customer on-site to analyze the root cause and develop a solution that makes sense both technically and economically.
